Headcanon — A constant WIP

Regarding headcanon, I like to play Vexen on par with his ingame personality and try to stay as close to actual canon as possible. There are, of course, deviations from this behavior as I attempt to flesh him out more but for the most part I typically try not to draw attention away from the already predefined information.

Vexen is a cold man, one who constantly looks at the world around him as one great big experiment. Anything is fair game when it comes to test subjects, comrades, animals, children are all viable specimens and without a heart the usual moral standings against such things are null and void — not to say that even has a Somebody his morality wasn’t already skewed. He enjoys performing dissections on both living and expired subjects, as a way of collecting data while partaking in a morbid type of pleasure that he was once so keen to avoid while still living within the realm of light. There are also pet projects that he lends his attention to, ranging from the study and replication of living beings to synthesizing curative items to a number of other less important experiments. But what consumes most of his time is his work for the Organization; his ability to efficiently gather data lending him to possibly be one of the best suited members for scouting missions and analyzing locations if one does not take into account his low damage threshold.

Constantly caught in between missions and his own work, the academic does tend to shrug more than several of his basic needs — the most common being eating and sleeping. Hygiene is also questionable, his hair is usually a flat mess of slightly greasy strands depending on how much time has passed since he last tended to it but as for bodily care the academic does appear to take care of himself well enough. A person could be lead to believe that washing his hair is a time consuming process, one that the blond either does not have time for or just considers unimportant enough to put off until the end of a week or so.

Remind me to add more later.
